Larry Shifflet, Dep. Sec. for Planning, PennDOT

Larry Shifflet, the Deputy Secretary for Planning of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, will give an overview of current plans for roads in and around the Hershey / Harrisburg region.

Larry has been working for the PennDOT for  over 29 years. He is a 1991 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a  Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Larry has also attained his Masters of Business  Administration from Lebanon Valley College. During his 29 plus years with the  Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Larry has worked in the Office of Planning  in various roles. Currently, Larry is the Deputy Secretary for Planning. Larry has  participated on several NCHRP panels with the most recent one focused on performance  based planning. He has also been invited and participated in National Peer Exchanges  with Washington Department of Transportation, Colorado Department of Transportation and West Virginia Department of Transportation.
