Scam Prevention Lunch (Board Meeting to Follow)

Gary Brown will be by the club to discuss: how to avoid common scams and frauds - the warning signs, how to avoid becoming a victim, and where to seek help if you think you're a victim.  There will be an update on the latest scams such as the “tech support scam”, and special emphasis on common telephone scams such as the “Internal Revenue Service scam,” the “Social Security scam,” and the “Grandparent Scam.”  He will also cover issues such as identity theft, romance scams and Internet safety.
