Moonee Valley Art Show 2020 ONLINE

Our Art Show is back on!  In an online format.

Thanks to the Keilor East Community Bank Branch our 2020 ONLINE ART SHOW now has a $3,500 artist prize pool. 

 We have previously advised that due to COVID-19 we will proceed as an Online Art Show in 2020. 

As of our scheduled start date of Friday 17 April, art accepted into our show will go online for sale until Sunday 26 April.

 We were unsure how an online Art Show would be received by artists but we were motivated to provide artists an opportunity to exhibit and hopefully sell their work given the current demise of physical Art Shows.  To further assist artists we will be waiving the Acceptance Fee we normally charge when works are accepted into our show.

The response by artists has been fantastic and far in excess of our expectations.  Last year we had a record number of entries.  This year we will break that record again - by approximately 100%!!

We are now delighted to advise that as a way of thanking our artists for their support and to assist this wonderful community event, Keilor East Community Bank Branch are substantially increasing their sponsorship of the Moonee Valley Art Show.  Thanks to them we will now be offering a prize pool of $3,500 for artists to compete for.  The bank is also contributing further funds to assist us with operating and marketing the event which will in turn, hopefully promote more art work sales for the artists.

We hope the artist community and the public can see that the Moonee Valley Art Show and Keilor East Community Bank Branch, along with our other event sponsors, are serious about our art show being fully operational again from 2021 and are here to support them in these troubled times.  This is no longer being conducted as a Rotary Fund Raiser. It is now more about providing a community service to artists and indeed the general public whom we feel are in need of a positive message.
