Eden Prairie AM Rotary Interns
Fifty members and guests gathered on-line to hear from our four fabulous interns who shared a little about themselves and talked about ideas for improving our communication and marketing efforts. Following is summary in order of presentation.
 
Kayla Keddie lives with her parent and two siblings. She is active in Robotics and participated in mission trip to Guatemala. She plans to attend Iowa State next year.
 
Mrinalni Iyer lives with her parents who immigrated to US from India in 1999. She participates in some research projects with U of M and has played the violin since she was 5 years old. She enjoys attending MN Orchestra and travelling, especially London. Attending U of M next year studying Chemical Engineering.
 
Kevin Gao is active with Distraction Free Driving organization, Interact, Deca and Prop. He participated in Varsity Tennis and plans to attend NYU/Stern next year.
 
Nicki Kunz lives with her parents and 2 older siblings. Nicki participates in theater, choir and orchestra. She works at Code Ninja teaching kids to code. Recently traveled to Disney world with Orchestra. Enjoys escape rooms and will attend UW – Madison next year to study Computer Engineering. The four interns shared their ideas and feedback including –
 

 Ideas for RYE fundraising and other activities
 Partnering with other companies or organizations
 Growing membership through increasing community visibility
 Enhancing social media presence through picture galleries, videos, events/polls and linking to other community events.
 
We are very lucky to have these interns as part of our club.
 
Spotlight on Tom Poul
Tom Poul is married to Mojdeh and they have two children. Tom is an Eden Prairie native. The family enjoys traveling and spending time at their cabin near Deerwood, MN. They spent all of 2018 in Toronto where Tom’s wife was on a temporary assignment with her employer. Tom has served on the Eden Prairie Planning Commission and the Parks and Recreation Committee. Tom received his undergrad degree from UMD and law degree from Mitchell Hamline Law School, he is an attorney with Messerli/Kramer specializing in government affairs and regulatory matters.
