CEDARBURG — Due to an increase in COVID-19 cases attributable to the delta variant, the Washington Ozaukee Public Health Department has resumed its testing partnership with Curative.

Curative testing will be offered at the Ozaukee County Fairgrounds and Washington County Fair Park on Mondays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.. and Wednesdays from noon to 6 p.m.

According to the WOPHD dashboard, Ozaukee County active cases have risen from 28 on June 29 to 173 on July 30 and were at 740 as of Aug. 27, a level not seen since mid-December. Cumulative deaths have remained at 103 since July 30. The county saw 26 hospitalizations in the last 30 days.

Duration for testing is open-ended and will depend on demand.
