Where were you born, education/degrees or associations/board seats?  I was born in Shorewood, but grew up in Whitefish Bay, WI.  I graduated from UWM with a major in Accounting and Finance.  I later obtained a master's degree in taxation and passed the CPA exam.

What did you want to be when you grew up?  I always wanted to be an architect.

Name of company & position, or your very first job - My very first job was working at Kopp's Frozen Custard, then I mowed the fairways and greens at Brown Deer Golf Course for the Milwaukee County Parks Dept.  I always say that if I no longer needed to work I would go back and mow lawns again!  Currently, I am a public tax accountant at Mitz & Rozansky S.C., a local CPA firm in Glendale.  I specialize in small business and personal accounting and tax compliance.

Family - My wife Carly and I recently moved from Whitefish Bay to Mequon.  Carly is a project manager for an interior designer. We have a golden retriever named Charlie and two beautiful children.  Penny is 4 and attends Donges Bay Elementary and Jack will be 2 in May. My parents still own their house in Whitefish Bay but are spending their winters in Naples, FL.  I have an older brother that lives in San Francisco and an older sister that lives in Boston.

Interests/hobbies/pastimes - I played high school hockey, and still enjoying playing recreationally in various pick up leagues when I have time.  During the warmer months, I love to play golf, fish, and spend time outdoors with my family.  One of my favorite activities is walking the dog while listening to real estate podcasts.

What do you like best about your job?  Meeting with people.  I love sitting down with entrepreneurs and listening to their story.  No client is the same, so it keeps it interesting and I like providing new ideas that will help them.

Most important lesson that you've learned in business?  Honesty is always the best policy.

Most memorable Rotary moment or event?  Cindy's holiday party.  Singing Christmas Carols with everyone is something I will remember forever.
