Telling Nebraska's Stories

Today's program will feature one of Nebraska most-recognized historians sharing some stories about the state we all call home.

Jim McKee is the author of over 1,500 articles and books on Nebraska history, which his family has called home since his great-grandparents pioneered in Lancaster County, ca.1870.  Jim is a Lincoln Northeast and University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate and married to Linda L. Hillegass.  He has been a local history adjunct professor (Lincoln History, copyright law, publishing) at Southeast Community College since 1970, writes a weekly column for the Lincoln Journal-Star, is a member and officer in local and national historical, professional, and civic organizations, and presents about 50 talks a year to church, civic, professional and historical groups.
