J. Don Miller Memorial Kite Flying Contest

Seward Rotary Club will host its annual J. Don Miller Memorial Kite Flying Contest on Sunday, April 18^th, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Seward Soccer Fields in Plum Creek Park.  This is an Seward Rotary Club event that is open to everyone and families in the community are encouraged to attend.

The late J. Don Miller was a longtime member of Seward Rotary Club and promoted the kite flying contest, even hosting workshops on “how to make a homemade kite” for the children of the community.  The contest, which is to honor his memory, is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome to attend and awards will be presented at the event's conclusion for a variety of categories, including first kite up in the air, biggest kite, and most unusual kite.
