Last week's meeting included a productive discussion about club activities and projects, jumpstarted by a brainstorming activity. Members were first asked to think of positive things that happened since the last meeting and then ways in which they were helped by someone or were able to help someone else. Members also shared their first jobs, high school mascots, favorite teachers/mentors, and favorite vacations. Members were also asked to think about good things they enjoy about other activities they're involved in - other service groups, church, work, etc.

The next series of prompts were about Rotary: favorite club projects, learning information about Rotary International and our club, brainstorming meeting program ideas and potential places to visit, and thinking about grand project ideas. Members were also asked to think about people they would invite to meetings and five people they could sell grocery grab tickets to.

Thank you to all the members who contributed to this activity. This discussion will be continued and added upon at the next meeting.

Members who wish to brainstorm grant project ideas can find some inspiration on the District 5650 grant page (past grants on left hand side): https://rotarydistrict5650.org/sitepage/grants

Grocery Grab tickets will be available at the Feb. 26 meeting and from Jim Johnson thereafter. We will also sign up for shifts at Foodmart for those members who want to sell tickets on Saturday mornings in March - two shifts will run from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. The winning ticket will be drawn at our regular meeting on Tuesday, April 7; the grocery grab and additional gift card drawings are on Saturday, April 18.

Our next meeting is tomorrow (Wednesday, Feb. 26) at The Brew House. If you are eating dinner, please call in your order and tell them you're with Rotary. Check out the new menus online: https://www.brewhousecrete.com/copy-of-the-menu-1
