Thank you all for a successful, busy April! I appreciate all of your volunteerism throughout our events. May looks to be more "normal", which will be nice. Here's some things to be thinking about:
District Grant for 2019-2020 year: Both Jenn and Tom P. have brought up an idea for a district grant: doing something to help with the library, and also to construct foot bridges at the cabin to access some of the land no one has been able to before. We will be discussing these at the May 7th meeting (deadline for application is May 31st) so please come prepared with ideas if you have other ones.
District Conference: This year it's in Nebraska City on July 26 and July 27. I plan to come to as many events as I can on Saturday and have already registered. I'd love a great turn out, so please join me! Here are some links to more information and to register:
This Wednesday, you'll notice, I've planned a social meeting at Elle's. I thought it would be nice to celebrate our hard work in April with a relaxed meeting. Please let me know if you're able to attend so I can give them a ballpark number. The only other date for May we need to fill is May 29th. That could easily be a club assembly, but if someone has a speaker lined up, please let me know!
