Nicole Stoner, from Gage County Extension, presented the program on July 2. She gave a geographic timeline, identification, and treatment information for Emerald Ash Borer, which has spread into Nebraska. The areas affected now include Lincoln and Omaha where communities and property owners have removed, as well as treated their ash trees. Nicole handed out identification guides and recommendations for replacement trees and said she can be contacted for questions involving EAB.
