Last week members picked up rocks at the pumpkin patch to ensure the pumpkins have the best chance of growing for the pumpkin festival!
This week, we will pass the gavel to our new president and go over final giving numbers for the year, and share our goals for next time.
For our July meetings, we have Nicole Stoner, a Gage County UNL Extension Educator and certified arborist to give us information about the Emerald Ash Borer on July 2nd. On July 10th, we will have a representative from "Shelter Me Nebraska", a non-profit organization that shelters pets of domestic abuse victims until they are reunited.
The week of July 17 we have the Saline County Fair with its various volunteer needs. The week after we will not meet. July 30 is to be determined at this time.
