On January 25, 2018, the representative members of the Lobito Rotary Club and a representative of the Lobito Rotaract Club Provisional Core had the privilege of being received in audience by His Excellency the Provincial Governor of Benguela Dr Rui Falcão. The Rotary Club of Lobito through its then president Jorge Crisóstomo, gave a brief explanation of Rotary, its objectives and areas of action as a Club providing community services.
They also expressed their intention to continue to be partners of the provincial government in solving some social problems in our community. However, they were astonished that his excellence demonstrated a deep knowledge about our organization, which greatly facilitated our meeting which was quite instructive.
Aos 25 de Janeiro 2018 os sócios representativos do Rotary Clube do Lobito e um representante do Núcleo Provisório do Rotaract Club do Lobito tiveram o privilégio de serem recebidos em audiência por sua Excelência governador provincial de Benguela Dr Rui Falcão. A mesma decorreu na sala de reuniões e decorreu num ambiente ameno .
O Rotary Clube do Lobito através do seu presidente Jorge Crisóstomo fez uma explanação resumida sobre o Rotary , seus objectivos e áreas de actuação como Clube de prestação de serviços comunitários. E também manifestou a nossa intenção de continuarmos a ser parceiros do governo provincial na solução de alguns problemas sociais na nossa comunidade .
Contudo, ficamos surpresos pois sua excelência demonstrou ter um conhecimento profundo sobre a nossa centenária organização, o que facilitou sobremaneira o nosso encontro que foi bastante instrutivo.
