The Rotary Club of York presented $15,000 in educational scholarships to students from various York County High Schools this spring. These merit-based scholarships, along with the Club’s Whiteley Fund Educational Loan program, assists York County residents to achieve their post-secondary educational goals. The loan program granted $83,000 to students for the 2017-18 academic year.- Cierra Coombs – Northeastern High School – James C. & Carrie B. Bush Scholarship to attend Penn State University

- Joshua May – West York High School – Sanford M. Kranich Scholarship to attend Penn State University
- Ethan Fogleman – William Penn High School – Art Kahley “Rising Musician” Scholarship to attend Temple University
- Nicole Guise – Spring Grove HS – John & Paige Smith Scholarship to attend Penn State University
- Jessica Sun – Red Lion HS – Charles & Alma Diehl Family Fund Scholarship to attend California Institute of Technology
- Walter Paczkoskie – Rotary Club of York Scholarship for Non-Traditional Students to attend Penn State University (York Campus)
