The Rotary International President issues a challenge to clubs annually - to build Rotary and provide service to the World. Only about 20% of clubs in our area earned the Rotary Citation during the 2017-18 Rotary Year. Though we do not know the statistics of clubs Worldwide for the 2018-19 Rotary Citation achievements, Lincoln South Rotary Club is on track. We should earn the Citation WITH DISTINCTION.

The District supports the focus of the Rotary International President and also tracks club effectiveness using the Club Profile program. That is the basis for the Top 10 Club Awards given at the District Conference. Lincoln South Rotary Club is proud to be in the Top 10 regularly. In fact, we have be awarded "#1 Club in the District' during 14 of the last 19 years (as long as we have been tracking).

The Lincoln South Rotary Club Board regularly reviews the challenges to support Rotary International and the District focus for the year. Achievement in these areas helps to strengthen Rotary, not just locally, but worldwide.
