Lyle Schoen will present the program "A Volunteer Archeologist's Report from an Ancient Roman City" at Lincoln South Rotary Club May 1, 2020.
Lyle has been an ordained United Methodist pastor all his adult life, serving as solo pastor and associate pastor in ten Nebraska communities. He graduated from Wahoo High School, the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, and Saint Paul School of Theology (United Methodist) in Kansas City, Missouri. Lyle retired on July 1, 2019.
He has been a Rotarian for 22 years, in five different clubs, all in Nebraska and is a current member of Lincoln East Rotary. He became a Paul Harris Fellow in 2016.
Lyle is married to Susan, and they have one adult son, David of Lincoln.
