2014 Suffolk's First Citizen Award Recipient was announced on February 27, 2014 at the Rotary Club of Suffolk weekly meeting. Robert "Bobby" Harrell was named as this year's Honoree.

The reception for the 2014 Suffolk's First Citizen Award Recognition will be held Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 6:00 pm at the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts. Registration is $35 per individual and several sponsorship levels are available. Make your reservation and select a sponsorship level online using the link for 2014 Suffolk's First Citizen Online Registration form in the Club Links tab in the upper left hand column of our Home Page. Profits from the First Citizen event will be donated to charitable organizations.

“Florida or Jamaica?” That was the question Patrick Belcher, Chairman of the Suffolk Rotary Club Raffle, asked Loretta Martin, winner of this year's raffle, when she answered the phone on the Monday after Peanut Fest. Without hesitation she said “Jamaica”.
