Rotary Foundation initiatives in Europe and Africa

Elizabeth Lamberti is the Senior Major Gifts Officer at Rotary’s Europe-Africa Office.  Now in her seventeenth year with Rotary International, she has served in various roles at both the world headquarters in Evanston, Illinois, and in Zürich, Switzerland.  Since 2013, Elizabeth has been working with Rotarians in Europe, Africa and the Middle East to help develop a fund development strategy for the region.  She works closely with regional Foundation volunteers, Major Donors and Bequest Society members to promote support for our Foundation.

Elizabeth was raised in the USA and has lived in Europe for around 15 years total.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Kenyon College in Ohio, a master’s degree in Italian literature from the University of Pavia in Italy, and a master’s degree in non-profit administration and fundraising from North Park University in Chicago, Illinois.  She speaks Italian and English and basic German.  Elizabeth has represented Rotary as a staff member at ten International Assemblies, four International Conventions and numerous Zone Institutes, regional seminars, trainings and district conferences throughout the Rotary world.
