PolioPlus Chair Roz Cooper has created a District 5000 fundraising team for PolioPlus donations.  Donors contribute online and it goes straight to The Rotary Foundation.  Add your club or individual team to the District's by going to https://raise.rotary.org/Rotary-District-5000/challenge2. Despite the great progress we’ve made toward eradicating polio, recent news reminds us that polio anywhere is a threat everywhere. The time for urgent action is now, and you can help. A new vaccine that is more genetically stable has been deployed to stop outbreaks. Generous donors make it possible for Rotary to coordinate this work, support frontline workers, and provide the vaccines, transportation, and materials that are needed. One way you can help is by creating a fundraiser on Raise for Rotary as we approach World Polio Day, 24 October.

Your Raise for Rotary fundraiser can support our work to protect children, from the U.S. to Mozambique and around the world. A new feature will credit your club for any donations made by nonmembers in response to Raise for Rotary fundraisers that your members organize. This can help your club meet its PolioPlus fundraising goals. If you have questions, go to Raise for Rotary FAQ or write to us at raise@rotary.org.
