District Conference Info May 2-4, 2014

Our 2014 District Conference "Forever Young" will take place May 2-4, 2014 at the beautiful Turtle Bay Resort on O'ahu's scenic North shore. The registration fee is $20 ($25 after 1/31) and the food package is $195 ($215 after 1/31) per person. It's easy to register on the district website at www.rotaryd5000.org (top left) . At the top of the registration page, click on the link to the Turtle Bay resort to make your room reservations, special room rates begin at $195 per night. The entire resort has been renovated and features many exciting  amenities.

We are planning a fun weekend filled with fellowship, stimulating speakers, workshops,and Hawaiian culture. There will also be a special dinner on Thursday night at 6pm in honor of past international president Sakuji Tanaka and to renew bonds of friendship with our Japanese sister district. Sign up on the conference registration page ($85. $95 after 1/31).

Friday 5/2: Shuttle from airport 8am, noon, 2pm, 4pm

7:45am Plenary session I: Club Admin and Membership awards, Presidents & District Team introduced

10:15am Plenary session II: Community, Public Relations, Youth Service awards, speaker.

4:30pm Reception for PEs and PNs (invitation only)

5:30pm Reception for Major Donors & White Hats (invitation only)

5:30pm General Recepion-cash bar

7:45am Plenary session IV: Celebration of Life, Vocational Svc & RI awards, HRYF awards, Leadership Academy graduation
