It’s time to celebrate and have fun. Join me May 3rd at the historic Menger Hotel in San Antonio for a fun weekend of events and fellowship with your Rotary family. We will enjoy a Mexican buffet entertained by a Mariachi band Friday evening to kick off the weekend. Following dinner, you are encouraged to join me in a RISE Against Hunger district service project. In two hours, we will package over 10,000 food packages that will be shipped to areas where hunger is a daily reality.
Saturday we will have some time together in the morning with great Rotary leaders and sessions to learn more about how to do good in the world. Saturday afternoon you will have time to take in the many entertainment venues San Antonio offers within walking distance of the Menger.
We will have a private tour of the Alamo at 5:45 p.m. Saturday. Texas author James L. Haley will make Texas history come alive as our keynote speaker after dinner.
There will be some friendly competition as we break into teams with exciting rewards for the winning teams:
- 35,000 Hilton Hotel HHonors points
- 20,000 Stash points (Menger & partner hotels)
- Points toward next PHF
