Rotary Club of Hillsboro honored the January Students of the Month from Hillsboro Junior High School in their noon meeting on Wednesday, January 15.
Rotary President Cami Steele introduced HJHS Counselor Jordyn Russell who presented Juleisse Gonzalez and Chris Montoya as January recipients of the recognition. Gonzalez reported that her parents are her biggest supporters; she plays saxophone and won a spot in the All-Region Band. She participates in UIL and runs track and cross country. Montoya reported science as his favorite subject and he strives to make A’s and perform at his best in sports and academics. He participates in football, basketball, and track.
