Rotary Club of Hillsboro welcomed District Governor Jim Henry from Austin in its noon meeting on Wednesday, August 21 in the Alamo Room at Lone Star Café.  Governor Henry announced the District Theme for the year, “Think Rotarian: Why Do We Do What We Do?
Rotarians were challenged to discover their passion in Rotary, to explore why that is their passion, and then to take action to realize and implement the passion.

Hillsboro Rotary President Cami Steele also introduced District Governor-elect Rick Stacy from Marble Falls and Assistant Governor Adam Price from Waco.  Rotary Club of Hillsboro was chartered in 1921 and has been a positive force in the community for nearly 100 years.  One of the early Rotary projects was to organize an effort to enable the City of Hillsboro to  purchase land from private property owners to create Hillsboro City Park…an enduring legacy.  Rotary Club meets at noon on Wednesdays at Lone Star Café in Hillsboro.
