These PK4 students at Pecan Springs Elementary in Austin are SO excited about the books they just received from Ms. Echols, the librarian at their “Books for Me” Day at Pecan Springs Elementary in Austin.
This is an incredible literacy program sponsored by Rotary to help students build their own home library by giving them free books to take home and keep. The Rotary members get to volunteer to help the students find the perfect books and help them put their name in them so they understand that these special books now belong to them. It helps create a love for books in our busy world of technology. Thanks Rotary.
