Rotary District 5610 is pleased to announce a pop-up grant opportunity for local clubs.
PURPOSE OF GRANT: The purpose of this grant is to empower local clubs to retain and grow membership during and after the COVID-19 pandemic through public image campaigns, media outreach, and technology to hold meetings and facilitate outreach and engagement.
REQUIRED GRANT INFO and IDEA SESSION. Feb. 22nd from 7-8 p.m. CST. Register here: https://forms.gle/
FINAL PROPOSAL DUE DATE: March 8, 2021 using this form https://forms.gle/
Grant Requirements:
1) Proposals seeking technology funds must address a technology need that will connect current or new members to Rotary meetings or events, or demonstrate how the technology will better facilitate outreach and engage club membership in the future.
2) Proposals for public image / Rotary-branded items will include a description of a public image campaign that will raise awareness of Rotary in the community, and have a direct “call to action” that connects a potential member with the local club (such as “call this number” or "visit our club website.”)
3) By submitting a proposal, a club is agreeing to have at least one member attend a 1-hour Zoom call on Monday, February 22nd at 7pm CST. The grant info and idea session will include specifics on uses of technology and how to conduct a successful public image campaign, as well as provide a time for you to ask any questions you may have about this opportunity.
4) A club match is not required; however, it is preferred that the club provide some funding to assist with the project.
5) Funds may be used to offset expenses for equipment made by the club for membership and technology since July 1, 2020.
6) Funds must be used by May 31, 2021. Maximum award: $2,500.
7) A final grant report will be due June 15, 2021.
