District 7230 Rotaract Community Service Project

The “Santa for a Day” Community Service project aims to bring Holiday cheers to children from the “Albemarle Shelter”. They have been accepting families since August 2014 and provides services to 43 families. The Albemarle falls under the umbrella of Homelife Services which has been in operation for 22 years. Homelife Services currently is operating 8 shelters which include adult families and families with children.

This Community project will cater to children from ages 3 months to 18 years old where Rotaractors, Rotarians and volunteer Santa’s will have the opportunity to spread Holiday cheers. We hope that this little act of kindness will provide some happiness to the children despite their situation. With the participation of our Rotary family, we will have team-building, fellowship and most of all “Making a Difference”.
