Register now for the upcoming Training for Leaders of Clubs (TLC) in Corner Brook

March 9, 2019 - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm 

Who's invited?

  • Anyone and everyone! All Rotarians, incoming, prospective, current, and past Leaders of your Club are invited. Incoming, current or past Presidents, Vice-Presidents, Secretaries, Treasurers, Board members/Directors, Committee Chairs…
  • Anyone aspiring to fill these roles or to learn more about leadership in your Rotary club! That probably includes YOU!
  • What an awesome opportunity for new members to learn and for experienced members to share their leadership abilities and experiences.

What will you learn? 

  • Professional development and leadership training that will useful in clubs and at work!
  • Technology – NEW THIS YEAR!  Hands-on learning on the benefits of My Rotary and Rotary Club Central!
  • Specific info about the roles and responsibilities for Presidents, Secretaries & Treasurers – learn about the most important tasks of your role, and review best practices and calendars of key dates
  • Annual Club Planning for All Leaders – you will learn about Effective Planning and actually work on your club’s plan in this working session – this will get you started on the necessary planning for July 1.
  • Irresistible Clubs for All Leaders – explore how to make your club irresistible and learn about new models for club flexibility

What do I need to do/bring?

  • Register now online at the link below and let us know if you have any dietary concerns.
  • Be prepared with your log in username and password for MyRotary (Rotary.org) and your Club Runner 
  • Bring along a copy of your club Strategic Plan (if you have one) and information on your committees, membership numbers, goals for the current year, an understanding of any critical issues your club faces, and of your online presence and how to use social media.
  • Lunch will be provided and cost will be approximelty $10.00 - RSVP BY March 6th 
  • Meet at 8:30 am in Room 2007. 
  • Come caffeinated as the first part of our training session will be held in the computer lab, no food or drink allowed!
  • Email dietary restrictions to your club presidents.
