On Monday the 31st August District Governor Grant Spackman, along with Club President Mary Legg, had great pleasure in welcoming Donald Bowie as a new member of the Rotary Club of Lake Taupo.
Donald, accompanied by his wife Penny, was previously a member of the Rotary Club of St Johns in Auckland and was introduced by Clive MacDonald.
The District Governor’s visit coincided with the Club’s mid-winter Christmas Dinner. The raffle and shrapnel shell on the night contributed towards $600 being donated to the Taupo Foodbank for the purchase of fruit and vegetables.
