Suleyman — the project in Turkey: Endoscopy for Cancer Patient at Oncology Institute — Istanbul University Oncology Institute.
Located in Istanbul — there are approx. 70,000 patients seek diagnosis and treatment. 75% of those were in the “head and neck region”. A difficult area to diagnose — it is challenging and uncomfortable. The new method is to use digital endoscopy device. Allows less discomfort and is an easier process.
Project — installing new electronic endoscopy inspection equipment. The equipment life span: approx 7 to 10 years. Cost is approx. $30,000 USD
