Our Special Needs Christmas Party is December 8th.
The Lima Rotary Club hosts its annual Special Needs Christmas Party on Saturday, December 8 from 11:00-2:00 at Shawnee United Methodist Church. The party is for children with disabilities from ages 5-14. There will be food, gifts, entertainment, super heroes and much more. The Special Needs Christmas Party is a tradition of the Lima Rotary Club dating back nearly 100 years. The club began its support of disabled children in 1917 when the Crippled Children’s Committee was formed  to help pay for medical care, wheel chairs, braces, and other equipment for the children. The first Christmas party was held shortly afterwards.
There are a variety of ways you can help: transport a child, supervise a child, purchase a gift for a child, or all of these. If you'd like to help, contact Esther Baldridge.
