We know there are many questions and desires to help support humanitarian aide and needs in Ukraine right now, especially as the situation changes day by day.
We have been able to quickly develop partnerships with Chicago hospitals and medical clinics to directly support the medical community in Ukraine, including being able to fill a truck with materials this weekend at Midwest PETS. As you prepare to attend this weekend's event and would like to donate physical items, please see the list below of immediate emergency supply needs identified. Through this partnership, materials will be shipped to Ukraine every Thursday.
- Bandages
- Gauze
- Neosporin or other topical creams
- Warm socks - both adult and children's sizes
- Female hygiene menstrual kits
- Slings
- Emergency kits (See examples here from Amazon and Target)
- Combat action tourniquets
- Israeli gauze compression bandages
- 14 gauze, at least 2 inch long
- Angiocatheter needles
- Quickclot gauze
- Chlorine tablets for clean water
- Trauma clotting kits
For those attending virtually or who would prefer to provide a monetary donation, you can do so at the following links:
