Capitol West Academy School Supplies Drive August 7 and 14

Mark your calendar for our annual Capitol West Academy School Supplies Drive happening at our weekly meetings on August 7 and 14! This will be our seventh year of helping students that don't have the means to purchase their own school supplies.
 
School Supplies
  • Large glue sticks
  • #2 pencils
  • Pocket folders of various colors
  • Boxes of crayons
  • Washable markers
  • Three ring binders 1-1/2"
  • Trifold boards for projects
Classroom Supplies
  • Large boxes of tissues
  • Clorox wipes
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Dry erase markers
  • Backpacks
  • Gently used or new backpacks.
 
Without basic school supplies, many students choose not to go to school. Please help support this terrific school by bringing any of the supplies listed above to our Club meetings on August 7 or August 14. Our generosity also helps teachers defray the cost of purchasing some of these classroom supplies on their own. The items we donate are controlled by Donna Weber, and given to students of need prior to the start of the school year and as these students run out of them.
