Section 5 - Stillwater Rotary Club has had a successful history of electing members to officer and director positions for multiple year commitments eventually progressing from the position of director to the office of the president. Continuing that tradition the normal election of a member to the board as club director 3 and that member's eventual progression to the office of president will ordinarily be as follows: year 1 - club director 3; year 2 - club director 2; year 3 - club director 1; year 4 - vice president (president - nominee); year 5 - president elect. Proposed Change: Add language to existing by-law: A majority vote by the Board of Directors can change the club director 3 position from the rotation to a 2 year position.
