Dear Potential Rotary Member,

Thank you for considering joining the Rotary Club of St. Louis Park. When you join a Rotary Club you are welcomed in any club throughout the world! That’s a very large network, wouldn’t you agree? In the western suburbs there are five clubs, meeting on every day of the week, so if you cannot make a meeting on Monday at the Doubletree at noon, you can always make-up at one of the other clubs. All of this information may be found on our website, http://www.rotaryslp.org.

Our meetings are held at the Doubletree Hotel in St. Louis Park, Hwy 394 & Park Place Blvd.. Meetings begin at Noon and generally end by 1:15pm. Attendance is anywhere between 30-40 people, our club membership is currently 40. Luncheon is buffet style and we do have a reputation for great food. Also, a great reputation for very interesting speakers. I can promise that you will learn something new every week, in addition to conversations with some great businesspeople in St. Louis Park.

One of the first questions individuals ask, is what is the financial commitment to Rotary?  The quarterly dues are $90, a portion of this money does go to Rotary International, and you will receive a monthly magazine, the "Rotarian" once you join. In addition to the quarterly dues, lunches are billed at $18 or $13 for soup and salad option.

I would like you to be my guest at an upcoming meeting and encourage you to come by a couple of times as a visitor to get the flavor of this group. I would also encourage you to visit our website at http://www.rotaryslp.org. Give me a call at 952/258-8118 or the SLP Rotary office, Paul Bierhaus at 612/239-8765 and let me know what date works best for you. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Chad Olson
