URGENT HELP -- 10 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED REGISTER
Open Arms of MN has scheduled an opportunity for Edina Rotary Club members and ERC member guests to work in their kitchen on Friday, June 10th from 1:30pm-4pm. Deadline for sign-up is June 3, 2022.
In order to best accommodate our group and serve Open Arms of MN's growing number of+1300 clients, they are asking us to confirm how many volunteers we will have in our group. Due to COVID-19 social distance guidelines, they can accommodate a maximum of 12 people. To cover cancellations, we are asking for 14 volunteers to sign up, 12 assigned and 2 alternate. Alternates will be asked to work if an assigned member must cancel. Please note in "Tag Text" if you and/or your guest would like to be "Assigned" or "Alternate". Before signing up review the following volunteer rules:
- ***ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED NO EXCEPTIONS***
- Cloth masks can only be worn over surgical or N95 mask, otherwise cloth masks are not permitted.
- Properly fitting face masks that cover both the nose and mouth are still required in our building (we have complimentary surgical or N95 masks available at the front desk)
- No shorts or tank tops are allowed in the kitchen
- We are only hosting groups of a MINIMUM of 8 and MAXIMUM of 12 volunteers
- With half the number of volunteers in the kitchen, it is important now more than ever we have 12 people
Register as a preliminary club member sign up. Be aware Open Arms MN has their own online shift schedule and 2 weeks prior to our volunteer shift you will receive a unique link for Open Arms MN VolunteerHub. Individuals within our group will need to create their individual VolunteerHub profile. Then you will be able to sign yourself up for our group kitchen shift. Volunteers will also be able to read and sign Open Arms safety waivers.
Every individual volunteer in our group will need to sign up at least one week in advance to keep our reserved shift, otherwise it may result in the loss of our reservation.
