Our meeting was a family, holiday themed event held on Thursday, December 12th. Mrs. Santa Claus, Jean Morrison, was there promoting the Holiday Gift Program. You have until this Thursday, December 19 to donate unwrapped toys and gift cards to Target, Macy's, Marshalls, Famous Footwear or Torrid. Santa Claus brought good cheer and hope that our members gift requests would be fulfilled.

Past President John Flynn, 2018-2019 presented the slate of nominees to serve on the Rotary Club of Edina Board of Directors.
Jennifer Shinners, Santa and Lisa Walker. Lisa was elected Board of Director of Community Service Projects, July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021.
Fred Sylvester, Club Service Chair, Santa and Bonnie Rolstad. Bonnie was elected Board Director of International Service, July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021.

Shelly Loberg was elected Officer, 5-year term from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2025.
New member, Peyton Chambers delivered her classification speech and told us about her move to Minnesota from Georgia, her family and how she enjoys the now adventurous winter trips to Target. Jennifer Hendrickson, Public Image Chair joined Peyton for lunch.

Last order of business, Steve Slyce Past President 20 - reminded us of the Holiday Cocktail Party scheduled for Thursday, December 19. It's our last Rotary event in 2019.
