Thanksgiving Basket Assembly

The Rotary Club of Edina will partner with the Edina Morningside Rotary Club again this year for the Thanksgiving Baskets Assembly event on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Plan to bring your family and join your fellow Rotarians at the Edina Country Club for this great event before you celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. We will gather at 11:45 a.m. for lunch. Afterwards, we'll begin assembling the Thanksgiving baskets for area families in need. Volunteers are needed for the basket assembly, as well as deliveries after the event. 

There is no meeting on Thanksgiving, Nov. 28, so this counts as the official Rotary meeting for that week. A make up will be needed if you do not attend and are working on perfect attendance for this Rotary year. Rotarians with regular memberships do not have to pay for lunch at the door. Senior Active or Honorary members pay the usual $20, and guests also will be charged $20 for adults, $12 for children. 

We are asking all Rotarians and guests who plan to attend to register for the event. Please register online by Friday, Nov. 22, so we can plan for the luncheon and basket assembly and delivery.

Note in the comments when you register if you are signing up to assemble and deliver baskets (or just for lunch), and if you have a preference for who you would like to deliver baskets with (if you don't have a preference, you will be placed on a team). You can also contact Michael Stanzak or Mary Hustad with your preference. Please make sure to register all guests as well.
