Our club is hosting a New Generations Exchange student again this year from Korea. Her name is Ji Hyeon Kim (In the United States, she will go by Andrea) and she arrives this Saturday, June 11, for about a three-week stay. We are seeking a couple of host families that would enjoy the cultural exchange and could provide a positive living arrangement for her internship. Hosting would include a place to find respite (sleep), meals, sharing some local experiences and some transportation. We need two to three such hosts for about a week to 10 days each for Ji. Her internship interests are in sports medicine, so additional ideas there are also welcomed.

This international experience is not limited to just our club or just Rotarians for that matter. So other clubs may be interested (like the Edina Morningside Club) and local families that might appreciate the opportunity to host this young woman from Korea to enrich their own lives, or those of their children.

The need is URGENT. We must find suitable arrangements for Ji to make her stay delightful. Please consider how you can assist with this effort. Reach out to Shelly Loberg and me quickly so that we can finalize any arrangements. Thank you for your continued support of our International endeavors.

Thank you.
