Sgt. Grant Snyder, MPD Homeless Liason, brought to our club his message of homelessness and his efforts to build relationships and bring safety to those in need. His words and actions had a profound impact on many of our members.
The date and time is Saturday, June 15, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at 1010 Currie St. (Downtown Salvation Army Shelter) to help Sgt. Snyder and his team prepare, serve and clean up breakfast service in a downtown open lot in Minneapolis. We will be serving breakfast with the Minneapolis police to roughly 100 homeless individuals and families.
This event is scheduled to be held outdoors. In case of inclement weather, an email or text will be sent to you on the day of the event. Please contact Ann Platt with any questions.
