The Rotary Club of Edina will once again this year be joining forces with the Edina Morningside Rotary Club and the Edina Chamber of Commerce to host the Edina 2018 State of the Community event Wednesday, Feb. 28. This is also a general membership meeting for the Edina Chamber, of which the Rotary Club of Edina is a member.
Edina Mayor James B. Hovland (an Edina Morningside Rotary member), as well as School Superintendent John Schultz and City Manager Scott Neal (an Edina Rotarian) will present information about future plans and city issues. You won't want to miss this update!
The event will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Edina Country Club, 5100 Wooddale Ave., Feb. 28. Cost for lunch and the program is $35 per person. Go to the Edina Chamber website to register. Edina residents may attend the meeting as non-lunching guests. An RSVP is appreciated to erica@edina.org. The registration deadline is Monday, Feb. 26. The proceeds from the State of the City event go toward future Rotary and Chamber mixers.
