The Rotary Honor Roll honors 5% of the 8th grade students in the Omaha Metro area at a luncheon each spring. The selection of the Rotary Honor Roll recipients was made by their schools on the basis of these categories:
- Leadership: Works well with others | Respects opinions of others | Honest, dependable and reliable
- Character – Kind and courteous | Responsible | Demonstrates respect for others and respect for the environment
- Scholarship –Demonstrates thirst for knowledge | Shows ownership of academic outcomes | Respects teachers & the learning environment
- Presence – Behaves appropriately | Respects self and others in dress, speech and actions | Responsible for portraying positive self-image
The 57 area schools in our program have selected their students - this year, we will honor 420 eighth grade students at our event. Parents were notified in mid-March with the news.
Cost: $30 per person.
On-line reservations will close at noon on May 1, 2017. All seating is reserved, and made in the order that reservations are received.
