Dave Hansen is co-owner of Swanson Russell, the largest regional advertising agency in the area, and recently moved into the Chairman’s position. With more time on his hands he has become involved in TeamMates, NMOTION, to help start-up companies, a big supporter of Mourning Hope, a Wesleyan Graduate, he serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Governors.
A past Board member of DLA. A marketing guy, he is a founding member of the Lincoln Chapter of the American Marketing Association and was awarded the first Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012. In 2019, Swanson Russell was awarded one of the best places to work in the mid-sized category, a recognition he is most proud of.
Today, he is figuring out what “Chairman” of a successful company does, as he has mentored the new President for over 20 years. But 3-4 rounds of golf a week, pickleball, biking, scuba diving, fishing, and most importantly 4 grandchildren are included in his job description and passions. He loves what the Rotary mission is all about and is ready to give more back to this great city. His only hope is that as you find out he plays pickleball with Mark Stephens, and for the past 10 years has been partners with him in a 2-person summer golf league at LCC, will not be held against him!
