International Student Picnic

Sunday, September 8^th @ 2:30pm

at Holmes Lake in Lincoln  

Holmes Park & Lake is situated at S. 70th Street in Lincoln, Nebraska

Rotary’s International Student Picnic functions as an “American Welcome” to international students attending colleges and universities in Lincoln and the surrounding areas. The picnic will be held at Holmes Lake in Lincoln, at the picnic tables just south of the playground. A local official or two will be on hand to offer a heartfelt welcome to our group. It is one of the biggest international events in Lincoln!

Schedule of Events

• 2:30 Students Arrive, sign-in and mingle, cornhusking demonstration
• 3:00 Official Welcome from Rotary & local officials
• 3:15 Group games such as balloon toss and tug-of-war
• 4:15 BBQ, Corn, Val’s Pizza and Runzas, and lots of Desserts!
• 5:15 Prize Drawings
• 5:30 Students head home
