Susan Valdés From National Youth Leadership Council

On Thursday, October 29^th, 2015, Susan Valdés, the Chief Learning Officer of the National Youth Leadership Council, spoke to the Noon Rotary about the National Youth Leadership Council. Susan has been working for NYLC for over 2 years. One of the councils believes is that all youth should be called upon to lead. NYLC transforms classrooms, empowers teachers, and students by providing high quality, dynamic, service-learning content to K-12 school districts, classrooms, out-of-school youth programs, and many more classroom settings. Teachers weave in service-learning content into the schools curriculum to meet academic standards. By the end of their high school careers NYLC hopes they have created students that are problem solvers and leaders.
