RCPI Dawn Cycle Ride

Dear Cycling Friends,
 
For the fourth time I would lie to invite you the “Rotary Dawn Ride”, a cycling event in the streets of Prague in the very small hours of 18th June 2016 (Saturday).  .
 
No change to the basic parameters: Meeting at 3.40 am at the usual place (start & finish at Maltezske nam, Praha 1 - Mala Strana). We start to roll at 4.00 am and cycle through & around Prague visiting different interesting places and look-out posts enjoying the quite beginning of a late spring day. The trip ends at about 8.30 am. As usual we plan ending with breakfast at Café Cukr Kava Limonada at the finish point. This year there may be some changes to the route we take.
 
If you are going to cycle with us you should be prepared for about 40 km at a leisurely pace of 10 km per hr. We hope for nice warm & sunny weather but mornings tend to be still chilly and rain cannot be totally ruled out so proper cycling attire is essential. Cyclist are also advised to bring light snacks & drinks as refreshment points on the way are scarce. Pay appropriate attention to your bikes (brakes, tyre air pressure, mud guards, lighting), additional head-lamps can come handy for the first hour of the ride. Be sure to wear a helmet.
 
If for whatever reason you cannot ride with us maybe you can come to support our event by having breakfast with us. Apart from providing a chance to enjoy your company this helps to keep the event popular with the Cafe owner as he likes to get up on Saturday to serve as many guests as possible.
