American Folk Festival Beer Tent Volunteers

Greetings Rotarians!

We will be serving thirsty festival-goers again this year, and we need your help.

WHERE: AFF Dance Pavilion on the Bangor Waterfront

WHEN: Saturday, August 25th from 5:30-10pm; Once again, there will be two shifts: 5:30pm-8pm and 7:30pm-10pm. The shifts overlap to ensure a smooth transition from one team to the next during this busy time. 

NEW ROTARIANS: THIS IS CONSIDERED BOTH A SERVICE PROJECT AND FELLOWSHIP EVENT for the Red Badge Program, and is also a missed meeting make-up for all members who help out. Please take advantage of the opportunity to participate. We have a lot of fun with this event each year and would love to include you! We need folks that are willing to pour beer and wine, re-stock coolers, work cash registers, check IDs, and keep the beer tent area free of debris. 

We highly encourage you to invite a friend or family member to participate so long as they are more than 18 years old. 

Please RSVP indicating your PREFERRED SHIFT, your PHONE NUMBER, and your preferred T-SHIRT SIZE (and your friend/family member's too, if they will join you on your shift). All AFF volunteers are required to wear an AFF T-Shirt that they get to keep.

P.S. Mandatory training usually takes place on Friday afternoon before the event. More info to follow as it is provided by the AFF.
