Taconic High School: Owen Fitzgerald
As evidenced by the write-up he provided, Owen is a man of few words.  He runs cross country in the Fall and track in the Spring.  Owen plans to pursue a career in IT and hopes to get a nice job at a tech start-up.
Pittsfield High School: Michaela LaBlanc
At school, Michaela is involved with her class council, the Mock Trial Team, the Spanish Club, she is member of National Honor Society and tutors struggling students. For sports, she plays volleyball and is Captain of the PHS team.  Last year, she was chosen for the All-Berkshire volleyball team.   To help her community, and most likely some Rotarians here today, Michaela was part of a group at the Josh Billing Triathlon helping those who needed a hand carrying their kayaks or canoes to their car.  When not in school or playing volleyball, Michaela can be found shadowing doctors at BMC and already has more than 50 hours under her belt.  This past summer, she attended the People to People Leadership and Health Science Summit at Johns Hopkins, which help solidify her desire to become a physician’s assistant.
St. Joe High School: Caitlin Bean
Caitlin has won many academic and sportsmanship awards.  She is a three sport varsity athlete playing soccer, basketball and softball.  In addition to being involved with a variety of school and community events, she volunteers at Berkshire Medical Center and teaches CCD at her church.  Caitlin hopes to attend either Curry College or Russell Sage College and pursue a career in nursing.
