and the Dhulikhel Hospital – an update

5 years ago our attention at the RCMI had been drawn to Nepal, one of the poorest countries oft he world. After more than 2 years of negotiations we could finalize two Matching Grants to support the Dhulikhel Hospital (DHos) together with the RC Freising, RC Neustadt/Vohburg and RC Dhulikhel in 2014. Additionly we supported the DHos with 2 more projects (Dpt. for Gynecology and  Dpt. for Gastroenterology). During the severe earthquakes in April and May 2015 many people died, even more lost their homes and regions of the country were destroyed.

Manifold support may alleviate the unbelievable suffering. We have to acknowledge that only long-term help will be successful.
