Invitation for July 3rd

Dear fellow club members and spouses

On July 3rd we will celebrate our “Change-of Guards” Meeting, handing over the responsibility for our next Rotarian Club Year to the incoming president and board. Since July 3rd will also be my 60th birthday, I would like to invite you to celebrate both in our garden and house at Dreschstr. 17, 80805 München. We will be delighted to welcome you as of 19:00h. The food will be prepared by a team of RCMI Chefs.

In the spirit of Rotary I would ask that you do not bring anything as a gift, but donate generously to one of the projects below. In the board we have decided to ask for a tax deductible donation of €80 per member and €40 per spouse present or registered. If you would like to deviate from the above amount please indicate so in your registration. Also if you want to specify to which of the projects your donation shall be directed please indicate in your registration in Club runner.

Members who will not be able to celebrate with us are also welcome to register for donation only.

Looking forward to celebrate with you!

Projects to donate at birthday/Change-of–guards Party:

  1. Barefoot college: Teachers Training
This will be an additional Program for the nightschools we support. Evaluation has shown that teachers need continuous support. With your support we could start this new initiative managed by our member Dagmar. See attachment.

  2. Kidscamp
These four to five day vacations are addressing children who do not have an opportunity for any vacation program. Living in orphanages or other children’s homes the children benefit from the adventures and learning experience with other children under the supervision and organization of Rotaract. We will support as many children as possible and invite children from the Clemens-Maria- Kinderheim in München, which we supported in our recent rotarian year. http://www.urlaubskinder.de/kidscamps/
