Read about membership and options below.

Thank you for considering membership in the Loveland Rotary Club.

Rotary is an international membership organization made up of people who share a passion for and commitment to enhancing communities and improving lives across the world. Being a member is an opportunity to take action and make a difference, and it brings personal rewards and lifelong friendships in the process.

As a Member of Rotary, we expect you will exemplify Rotary Guiding Principles which encourage and foster the ideal of service:
  • Act with integrity and high ethical standards in my personal and professional life.
  • Deal fairly with others and treat them and their occupations with respect.
  • Use professional skills through Rotary to mentor young people, help those with special needs, and improve people’s quality of life in my community and in the world.
  • Avoid behavior that reflects adversely on Rotary or other Rotarians.
  • Help advance international understanding, goodwill, and peace via fellowship.
Celebrating the diversity of the local community and respecting the dignity of all persons, the Rotary Club of Loveland welcomes as candidates for membership all adults of good character and good standing in the community. Adults of every race, religion, creed, national origin, age, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, handicap, disability, economic status or from an historically underrepresented group are encouraged to become candidates for membership. Rotary has no political affiliation.

Loveland Rotary has three different Membership types: Individual, Business/Organization and Satellite. The main Loveland Rotary Club offers both Individual and Business/Organization memberships. If you are connected with a business or organization that would like to encourage more service-oriented participation, Business/Organization membership entitles multiple individuals from your business to participate in Rotary and its events for one quarterly price. To read more about Business/Organization memberships click here.

Satellite Club membership provides a smaller group setting, and they typically meet outside of typical working hours, in the evening or early morning. Although part of Loveland Rotary, these clubs have their own operating procedures and dues. For more information on our Satellite Clubs, visit “Satellite Clubs” at our website  www.LovelandRotary.org.

Your Membership fees fuel the operation of our Club and support of our activities.  A one-time application fee for new Individual or Business/Organization membership is $60.00 due when your application is submitted.  Ongoing Membership Dues are invoiced quarterly and are presently $235 per quarter for Individual Members, $305 per quarter for an Organization/Corporate Membership. Both include one weekly lunch and support of our local, District, and International Rotary groups. An annual subscription to the International “Rotarian” Magazine is also included.

A special International Charity Foundation set up in honor of the founder of Rotary, Paul Harris, provides funding for medical, health and literacy related programs worldwide. Members are encouraged to become Paul Harris Fellows by contributing $25 per quarter to this charity.

While Rotary does not require attendance at every meeting, you are encouraged to join our weekly meetings to network with other Rotarians, enjoy a great catered lunch, and hear invited guests speak on various subjects of interest. Not only does this encourage your participation in various service activities but unites us in a shared sense of purpose to the Rotary philosophy of service and fellowship.

Currently the Loveland Rotary Club has approximately 150 members.

Individuals must be sponsored or proposed for membership by a current member at all Rotary Clubs. If you know a Loveland Rotary Club member, let them know you are interested in membership and ask if they could host you as their guest at a meeting, and/or use their name as a sponsor.

If you do not know anyone in the club, you are welcome to visit us at a luncheon meeting.  A host will help answer any questions and help you find a sponsor as necessary before you apply for membership.

Loveland Rotary meets every Tuesday from 11:30 to 1 PM at Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 2500 N. Garfield in Loveland. Lunch is 11:30 - Noon and the meeting is Noon - 1 pm.  Please let us know when you would like to visit us and we will have a nametag and host available for you.

As a potential member there is no charge for a lunch visit whether you are a guest of a current member or visiting on your own.
